We have been talking about setting healthy habits and SMART goals. Today I want to show you that God wants us to be successful! God has wonderful plans for our lives!
In Proverbs 3:5-6 we will see that there is a way to follow the correct path.
How do you create a healthy habit? I believe that we can set a goal of making a healthy habit. Some people say if you do it for 21 days you will form a habit. But I believe there are some circumstances that allow a habit to be formed quicker and sometimes longer. It just depends on the three stages of forming a habit.

Continuing with our study of Christmas, we find the Wise Men found and worshiped Jesus some time after His birth.
Reference Matthew 2:1-12
There are 3 groups of people to note and compare:
- Herod displayed an open hatred and hostility toward Jesus.
- The chief priests and the scribes were indifferent toward Jesus, all the while retaining their religious traditions and knowledge.
- The wise men sought out Jesus and unexpectantly worshipped Him – even at great cost. (their time, money, and social status)
Wouldn’t we all want to be more like the Wise Men? I believe it it true – that wise men and women still seek the King!
Did you ever stop to think why shepherds were the people God picked to announce the birth of Jesus? The humble shepherds were the very ones God used to confirm the Deity of Jesus to Joseph and Mary.
That fact, among others, made the birth of Jesus:

I can’t tell you how relieved I am to have released my book. This book has been in the works for several – repeat several years! I would start and stop writing over the years. A silver lining from COVID is that I had time to stay home and write. More importantly I was able to schedule time for me to write.
This book is a tribute to my grandmother Ellis Troutman, but also a desired help to young adults who need someone to speak wisdom into their lives.
